Apple If you are an apple you are heavy in the upper torso narrowing to small hips and long lean legs. Since apples generally have short torsos, it is very important to tie your neck straps at tight as possible to get good lift for your breasts. The V of the front of the bottoms should be very low to lengthen your torso. The side straps should sit just above your hip bones to again give enough length between your hips and breasts. Also the back of the suit should be very small. Since your hips are narrow, you want to be sure you balance the back of the suit with the width of your glutes. |

Pear Pear shapes have full hips with a small upper body. It is important for those without breast implants to have plenty of padding in your tops. Pears want to wear their hip straps just above the hip bones and a medium high front to give a pleasing V shape to their bodies. The back of the suit should balance with the width of their glutes. If you are holding a little extra in your hips, have your suit cut slightly wider in the back to compensate. |

Celery Celery shaped bodies have little or no curve in at the waist. It is very important to give yourself plenty of padding at the top if you do not have implants. We want to build up your chest to create a wide area that narrows down to your waist. You will also want to wear your hip straps high on your hips with a very low V on your bottoms to give the illusion of a narrowing waist. Celery butts are in good balance and will fit well in either a V or Tiny V back depending on your level of conditioning. |

Hourglass Hourglass girls have a genetic benefit over other body shapes in that they already have a nice wide chest and narrow waist. Your area of concern is your hips. You want to try to minimize your hips as they tend to be a litter wider than the judges like to see. You will want to have plenty of support in your top to lift your breasts and lengthen your torso. You will want to wear your hip straps just on the top of your hip bones to help bring in your hips. On the back of the suit, you want to be sure the suit back isn't too small. This will accent the width of the hips. |
